The Let Kids Be Kids Coalition was founded in 2020 by Charlie Colchester to aid in the battle to safeguard and protect children and defend parental rights which were being attacked by the DfE under the guise of RSE. LKBKC stood as a voice for the voiceless, participating in Judicial Reviews, and working with parents and others to protect parental rights and stop the sexualisation of children in the classroom. At the time, when we initially raised the alarm, many rebuffed our concerns, stating that what we said was happening COULD NOT be the reality on the ground. Thankfully, the warning we were sharing was finally vocalised in PMQ's by Miriam Cates and the tide began to shift...and the truth started to come to light. While there is still much to do, there have been a number of encouraging steps forward with the issues and concerns now very much in the public domain, widely known and being openly discussed and challenged on many fronts.
